During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Asialink Business and Herbert Smith Freehills were determined to hold their annual summit as scheduled. The Virtual Summit for the Asialink Leaders Program delivered the right results, welcoming eager attendees from October 26th to 28th, 2020. Recognising the challenge of event hosting in this new landscape, they turned to Flare Creative to transform this major event into a virtual, interactive experience.

The annual Leaders Program is a huge part of Asialink's strategy, addressing a range of key challenges and opportunities in Australia's engagement with Asia. Expert speakers from across Australia, Vietnam, China, India, Indonesia, the United States, and Brazil were all confirmed for the 2020 event. Flare Creative Experiences offered the perfect solution by creating a branded online engagement platform.

Via this platform, keynote speakers, presentations, and breakout sessions were all supported, as well as much more besides. In addition to the platform, Flare Creative leveraged our content team to create a series of opener, closer, and filler videos to ensure high levels of interest and engagement across the whole interactive program.

In line with the resilience and agility that Asialink pride themselves on, Flare Creative's virtual event was a huge success.

"The team understood our requirements and challenged our way of thinking to transition from a face-to-face program to a real online experience. They invested in educating and supporting our senior leadership on the value of the execution and steps that would need to be achieved to deliver a high-class experience. The agility to work under pressure and turn around products in short timeframes exceeded expectation. It was a pleasure working with Flare."
